Frome Medical Practice’s team are supporting patients to make greener health choices as some medications and lifestyles have lower impact on the environment than others.

Train to be a Green Community Connector. Green Community Connectors share information on how making positive choices can be beneficial for our health and wellbeing as well as our environment.   

We’re ensuring that Frome residents get support to live in a warm, healthy environment- whether that’s helping people on low incomes to access financial support for energy efficiency measures, or providing retrofit advice to homeowners wishing to make home upgrades.

Free training is also available to all who want to understand more about home energy. Healthy Homes is a partnership between Frome Town Council, Frome Medical Practice and the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE).

Borrow an e-bike plus essential cycling accessories from Frome Town Council for four weeks so that you can tackle Frome’s hills and improve your health whilst reducing pollution and congestion.

Participants can also take up to six hours of guided rides.
