In a collaboration between the Green & Healthy Future Programme, Frome Town Council and Sustainable Frome, we took over our town’s local rag – The Frome Times – with a special edition front and back cover.
The newspaper turned from its characteristic red to green and over 20 articles, plus artwork, cartoons and imaginative adverts reflected our community’s vision for how Frome could look in 2030 if we take steps now to ensure a greener, healthier future.
Members of the community were invited to submit articles and illustrations in the weeks leading up to the COP26 conference and these were combined into this four-page spread. The paper reaches thousands of households in Frome – we hope to have sparked conversations across the community.
