Retrofit: Understanding your home is the next in a series of Frome Community Retrofit talks, hosted by Community Retrofit Lead Sally Richards.
The free event will explore how you can make your home more efficient in terms of energy use. What are the low cost and/or low risk measures you might be able to install yourself, and what sort of repairs should you look out for to keep your home dry and less draughty.
These sessions are a welcoming and friendly environment to share specialist knowledge and a unique opportunity to create a retrofit community, including signposting for local building professionals, so whether you are looking for help or delivering retrofitting services – please do join us to find out more.
Retrofit events are supported by the Centre for Sustainable Energy in Bristol who have decades of experience of providing help to people who are in fuel poverty and advising communities on how to transition towards Net Zero.
This project is part of the Green and Healthy Frome initiative. We are a unique partnership of Frome Town Council, Edventure Frome, and Frome Medical Practice. We are funded by The National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund. We are exploring ways to help local people live lives which are good for their health and good for the planet. By improving one, we’ll also improve the other, enabling everyone to share in a better future.
